Goan fish Curry, This culinary delight, that can literally, give any Goan goosebumps and his taste buds quiver with delight is regular staple in our diet
And as our famous poet Bakibab Borkar once pleaded with the Angel Of Death
"Oh!! not today, please, I have fish curry for dinner"
I don't have the precise quote, just off the cuff but we understand the poet's sentiment.

3-5 sliced pieces of Surmai fish
1 tsp of salt
1/2 grated coconut
10-12 kashmiri chillies
5 ginger cloves
1/2 inch ginger
1 tsp cumin seeds,
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
ball of tamarind add hot water,
1 Onion slices, 2-3 green chillies sliced
1 tbsp of oil
4-5 dry kokum
