snippets of unforgettable lyircs, tribute to Fr Bolmax, vid will load in few secs.
In the gentle hills of Quepem, where the
cashew blossoms sway,
A shepherd walked with open heart, turning night to golden day.
Fr. Bolmax, voice of heaven, hands that blessed the fertile soil,
Whispered prayers to the Father, while he taught the land to toil.
He saw God in every river, in the ancient forest’s song,
In the faces of his people, where the weak became the strong.
With a rosary in one pocket, and a seed in calloused hand,
He walked the paths of Mollem, guarding Goa’s sacred land.
Chorus
Oh Father Bolmax, you loved so true,
God above, your people, and creation’s morning dew.
Now the angels sing you welcome, in a garden ever green,
But your spirit lingers softly in the places you’ve redeemed.
Rest in peace, dear shepherd, your work on earth is done,
You’ve gone home to the Father, beneath the Goan sun.
From the pulpit of Chicalim, your words like healing rain,
Fell on hearts that felt forgotten, easing every hidden pain.
You stood against the iron wheels that threatened ancient trees,
A priest in collar, yet a warrior, bringing kingdoms to their knees.
You taught the youth to touch the earth, to plant and watch it grow,
To honor every creature, every river’s gentle flow.
In classrooms filled with wonder, and in fields at break of dawn,
You showed us heaven’s glory in the world that God has drawn.
Though your heart gave out too early, at fifty summers young,
Your legacy blooms eternal, like the hymns that you once sung.
In every leaf that whispers, in every child that prays,
In the fight for what is holy, your quiet strength remains.
Chorus
Oh Father Bolmax, you loved so true,
God above, your people, and creation’s morning dew.
Now the saints have gathered round you, in a choir without end,
Singing praises to the Savior, with their newly welcomed friend.
Rest in peace, beloved father, your earthly race is won,
You’ve returned to Love Eternal, where the victory is sung.
Goa weeps beside the sea, yet smiles through falling tears,
For a man who gave his all, through faith that conquered fears.
Bolmax Pereira, your name we’ll speak with grace,
Till we meet again in glory, in our Father’s warm embrace.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
